In this edition - You will recall that during the lead up to the 2017 State election, Premier Palaszczuk gave your union a commitment to fully fund an additional 100 firefighters and 12 fire communication officers on top of existing head count.

Even 20 years into this new century and millennium, workers are (in preventable ways) being killed at work, with the 2020 death toll already at 63 (total as at 23 April 2020 reported by Safework Australia).
