In this edition - On September 11 2001, after coordinated terrorist attacks on United States soil, the twin towers of the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan collapsed. As a result, more than 2500 people were killed and many thousands more were injured, including 343 fallen comrades from the New York City Fire Department who put themselves in harm’s way to protect the lives of those victims.v37#11 Queensland Fire Department - UPDATE

In this edition - During my time as your UFUQ State Secretary a common discussion amongst you and your colleagues has been the forced cessation of your superannuation earning capacity as a result of being required to retire at 65. On that topic, I am pleased to finally be able to report to you today confirmation of an historic change in your superannuation which will take effect on 1 July 2023.v37#8 FUNDRAISING FOR IZZY AND LIA CONTINUES
In this edition - FUNDRAISING FOR IZZY AND LIA CONTINUES The UFUQ account I reported to you on 9 May in Code 2 Volume 37 Number 6, has garnered much positive response and I am pleased to report there is now over $24,000 to be shared between Izzy’s family and her partner Bec, and of course to Lia, who is continuing on her long road to recovery.
