CA16 – Update

I have been keeping you updated on the progress of the work to provide content supporting new and varied clauses of your new certified agreement.

Below is the latest information on the relevant clauses that create or modify an entitlement.

23        Health and wellbeing
Implementation due by 30 June 2019.
Work is yet to commence.

27        Illness when on other leave
Implementation on certification.
QFES advises that work is complete.

28        Emergent leave
Implementation on certification.
QFES advises that work is complete.

33        Shift swaps
Implementation on certification.
Work is ongoing.

35        Change of roster
Implementation on certification.
Work is ongoing.

41        LFF acting up
Implementation on certification.
QFES advises that work is complete.

45        38 hour week allowance superannuated
Implementation on certification.
QFES advises that work is complete.

48        FFF & RAAP
Implementation on certification.
Work is ongoing.

52        Rescue technician
Implementation on certification.
QFES advises that work is complete.

53        Fire Investigation
Implementation within 3 months of certification.
Work is ongoing.
An initial meeting has occurred and further meetings are scheduled.

54        BA Hazmat
Implementation within 3 months.
Work is ongoing.
An initial meeting is scheduled and state BA and regional BA will be involved once consultation commences.

55        SO professional development
Implementation on certification.
Work is yet to commence.

56        Paid travel time
Implementation on 1 January 2018.
Work is yet to commence.

57        Temporary relocation
Implementation due by 30 June 2019.
Work is yet to commence.

72        Annual leave, Z shifts and hours of work
Implementation due by 30 June 2019.
However, with the immediate effect of restoration of annual leave and Z shifts, work on the Z shift policy has commenced.

NOTE: RE Z SHIFTS – All FCOs have been emailed (on Monday 31 July 2017) regarding your union seeking input on the Z shift policy information put by QFES. 
You will have possibly seen an update from QFES on the Z shift policy work, and that email correctly stated that whilst discussions have commenced and are ongoing, an agreed position is yet to be reached between QFES and the UFUQ.
Your union seeks your feedback on the matter and we ask that you reply as soon as you can to the email you would have received from the UFUQ.

76        38 hr week allowance superannuated

83        Part time review
Implementation due by 30 June 2019.
Work is yet to commence.

84        Rostering review
Implementation due by 30 June 2019.
Work is yet to commence.
