In this edition - Following on from my recent Code 2 about the installation of video and audio recording devices in appliances (and ERV’s), I can provide the following update.
v34#26 SWITCH OFF ALL DASHCAM AND AUDIO RECORDING NOW!
In this edition - QFRS appears to have quietly installed dashcam video (always on) and the ability to secretly record in-cab discussions (always on) in the GPS trackers in new appliances appearing at stations now.

In this edition - Great benefit for fuel discount for UFUQ members with Freedom Fuels.
v34#23 Application of the motor vehicle allowance directive
In this edition - The Queensland Government’s Motor Vehicle allowance directive contains an entitlement for mileage payments where a firefighter or station officer is required to work away from their normal station to relieve or perform “special duties”. This directive has long applied to members through clause 13.3 of your Award.
