CA Updates : CA22 Update 18 - CERTIFIED AGREEMENT LODGED
In this edition - I am pleased to inform you that today QFES have lodged the proposed Queensland Fire and Emergency Services Certified Agreement 2022 (your CA22) with the QIRC.

In this edition - Your union has received many contacts from members and others asking where money could be donated to assist FF Nash’s family and partner, and also SFF Drew’s recovery. In response to this, the UFUQ has taken the formal steps to establish a fundraising account.

In this edition - Today is International Firefighters’ Day. A day we stop to recognise and honour the sacrifices of our fallen comrades and the contributions of all current and former firefighters.

In this edition - I wanted to update members and our colleagues and friends in the firefighting community across Australia on the tragic death of our comrade and colleague FF 1st Class Izzy Nash (UFUQ member number 6057) who joined Fire and Rescue and her union in 2014.
