v35#13 PRESUMPTIVE LEGISLATION FOR PTSI PASSED BY PARLIAMENT
In this edition - As you would know, after many years of campaigning, in September 2015, the Palaszczuk Government passed amendments to Queensland’s workers’ compensation laws that introduced presumptive legislation for Firefighters who are diagnosed with one of 12 cancers. But cancers are not the only work related injuries that significantly affect UFUQ members, and since 2015 your union has been campaigning for similar presumptive legislation for PTSI.

v35#9 QFES SENIOR MANAGEMENT AGAIN STEALING YOUR JOBS AND GIVING THEM TO PUBLIC SERVANTS.
In this edition - I am aware that the Commissioner has recently signed off on a process your union is stepping in to correct. I’ll soon have more to say on this Commissioner and his apparent lack of understanding of what an actual firefighter in an actual fire service does.
