Annual General Meeting

In accordance with the union’s Rules, notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the United Firefighters Union of Australia, Union of Employees, Queensland will be held at the West End Club, 2 Vulture St, West End (next door to the union office) commencing at 9.30 am on 9 October 2017.

Additionally, the Annual General Meeting of the United Firefighters Union of Australia, Queensland Branch will be held at the same location commencing at 9.00am on the 9 October 2017.

All financial members are entitled to attend. Should you wish to attend, please advise the union office so that seating arrangements can be made.

Audited Accounts

In accordance with the Industrial Relations Act and Fair Work Act, the audited financial statements of your union for the financial year 2016/2017 are available for members.

The documents contain the financial statements for both the United Firefighters’ Union of Australia, Union of Employees, Queensland (the state union) and the United Firefighters’ Union of Australia, Queensland Branch (the Qld Branch of the federal union), and are available on the union’s website.

If any member does not have internet access or has problems accessing the documents, simply contact the union office.
