ca22 update 14 - formal approval of agreement - draft available

I am pleased to finally be able to report to you that the formal approval of the CA22 deal has (finally) been received from the state government.

On Tuesday 21 March 2023 all parties to the agreement co-signed the formal offer and this means the draft copy of CA22 is now able to be distributed to all eligible employees for the formal review period.

I have attached a copy of the draft (QFES CA22 consultation draft) to the UFUQ website and you can find it here.

QFES is also going to email all eligible employees with a link to the draft and more details on the start and finish dates for the review period.

The review period provides all eligible employees with an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the terms and conditions being offered in CA22. During this period, the UFUQ will again visit all regions to hold CA22 sessions, where you have the opportunity to attend and ask any questions about the agreement. The schedule for those visits was published on 17 March 2023, It has had to be modified due to how late the approval and agreement finally came through. I also encourage members to email ca22@ufuq.com.au if you have questions, whether you can make it to one of the information sessions or not.

The voting period will follow the review period and I will provide further updates to you prior to and during that period.

I am sure you will be pleased with the offer in the draft CA22 and I look forward to a successful YES vote and commencement of your new entitlements.
