CA Updates : CA22 Update 10 - CA22 UPDATE 10 - BARGAINING CONCLUDED / FORMAL OFFER DUE SOON

In this edition - I am pleased to report that your union and QFES have reached ‘in-principle’ agreement on the outcomes of CA22 bargaining, and in doing so have preserved the date for backpay to 1 July 2022. We now await approval of those outcomes from the Queensland Government.

In this edition - I am pleased to report that your union and QFES are on track to achieve an agreement on our combined claims within the period required to preserve any backpay on certification of a new agreement to 1 July 2022.

In this edition - You will recall your union provided substantial submissions to the KPMG Review into the future operations, structure, and sustainability of the fire service. That report currently sits with Government.
