AUXILIARY UPDATE : 15 March 2018

UFUQ State Committee seeking auxiliary input

I encourage you to consider nominating for either the Auxiliary North delegate covering Far Northern, Northern and Central regions or Auxiliary South delegate covering North Coast, Brisbane, South Eastern and South Western regions on the UFUQ State Committee of Management.

As per the Code 2 newsletter on 9 March 2018, elections have commenced and nominations are now open. 

Many auxiliaries tell the state UFUQ office that they want more involvement, and this is the opportunity to get involved in your union and the strategic direction we will take for auxiliary members over the next three years.

You will be responsible for interacting with the state UFUQ and all other auxiliary fire stations across all regions, through your role as a state committee of management representative.

An amended nomination form is attached here, Stand up for yourself and your colleagues by nominating yourself as a delegate.  I look forward to both auxiliary representative positions being filled at the upcoming election.
